Elegant pair of vintage French Gilles Nouailhac dining or accent chairs, beautifully crafted in the Louis XV style. Each chair features a gracefully shaped cane back, carved wood frame with scrolling foliate details, cabriole legs, and a sculptural X-form stretcher with a carved central rosette. The generously upholstered seats are finished in a warm golden-yellow patterned fabric with traditional nailhead trim. The naturally aged wood finish and intricate carving give the chairs a sophisticated Old World French character. Original Gilles Nouailhac labels are present.
