An Italian ceramic vase from the 1950s, signed “Deruta Italy 58.” The softly tapering form is articulated with twisting fluted ridges that spiral around the body, lending the piece a sense of movement and lift. Its surface is finished in a rich emerald glaze, where subtle tonal variations and a glossy sheen gather along the raised contours.
Fine gilt accents trace the crests of the ridges and encircle the base, introducing a delicate contrast to the saturated green ground.
Condition: In great vintage condition, with minor finish loss to the gilt accents. Signed “Deruta Italy” along the underside.
