The ceiling part of the design features bold vertical ribs and descending stepped tiers that give this large white glass globe its architectural silhouette, complemented by a reflective silver-tone metal holder. The overall fixture measures approximately 22 inches high by 10 inches wide, while the glass globe is approximately 15 inches high by 10 inches wide. The fitter measures approximately 5 inches, and the chain and wire are approximately 5 feet long (can be reduced if needed).

This piece is in good vintage condition with no cracks or chips to the globe body. However, small flea bites—tiny edge chips—are present at the fitter rim; please review the close-up photographs. The metal holder shows surface scratches and marks visible in the photographs. The original glass is paired with replacement electrical and hanging components.

Installation requires hardwired installation, and it is recommended to have a qualified electrician inspect and install the assembled fixture. The globe’s tall ribs and stepped silhouette echo the architectural geometry associated with Art Deco skyscraper lighting. Its original maker, retailer, and first owner have not been documented. Minor wear and scratches are a normal part of vintage items unless stated differently.

Create an architectural focal point in an entryway, stair landing, or kitchen. Pair the white glass and silver-tone finish with walnut, black accents, geometric tile, or a streamlined mirror for a room with period character.
