Antique Caucasian gallery rug specifically featuring the distinctive geometric design.
Charactarized by its strong tribal heritage, this style originates from the Northeastern Caucasus region (modern-day Azerbaijan) and is highly praised for expressive geometry.
The composition features large, elongated central geometric anchors and multiple stepped, multi color octagonal medallions running down an ivory field.
Framed by traditional Caucasian geometric border guards, incorporating classic tribal rosettes, starburst configurations and serrated or wave-like framing.
Dominated by highly saturated, naturally dyed jewel tones, including deep brick red, indigo blues, ivory, and accents of gold and brown.
