Design Plus Gallery presents a Pair of Crackled Ice Dining Chairs from Elinor McGuire for McGuire Furniture. The Cracked Ice Chair is a McGuire icon. This design is famous for its distinct back, a rattan oval that frames a series of smaller rattan members bound by rawhide to create the illusion of cracked ice. Described by some as "shattered glass," this simple yet inspired pattern is paired with elegant, curved armrests, straight legs and a delicate corner detail. The finish to the wood is in their ivory tone and have cane seats, making them lightweight and airy. There are matching and removable seat cushions in a medium dark blue, Navy sateen fabric with a repeating pattern. They are both in good condition for their usage with minimal signs of wear.
