Sourced in Tanzania, this is a beautiful rich, wine jewel-toned Tanzanian garnet. We love the deep red color and unusual octagonal shape of the stone, which has an eight-sided table surrounded by triangular facets. The stone is mounted in a simple 14k gold basket with four prongs that hold it in place. The garnet measures 8.7 x 8.7 mm and is 2.8 carats.
The pendant measures 5/12” across and has a 5 x 7.5 mm bail. The pendant weighs 1.5 grams.
