Here is a vintage five-piece brass fireplace tool set with substantial construction and wonderful decorative detailing. The set includes a freestanding holder with four coordinating tools: a poker, shovel, brush and tongs.
Each tool is finished with a beautifully turned handle featuring a rounded ball finial and ringed detailing. Particularly lovely are the sculptural curved shape of the poker and the tongs, which feature wonderfully detailed pierced gripping ends. The stand is equally handsome, with curved arms, and a substantial rectangular base decorated with a raised diamond lattice pattern.
This is an especially heavy, well-made set with a quality feel that sets it apart from lighter decorative fireplace accessories. The warm brass finish and traditional detailing make it an easy addition to both classic and more eclectic interiors.
