Purchased in Paris from a collector of vintage fashion designs. They are numbered drawings that are hand painted ink designs done on vellum, a translucent paper with a slightly waxy finish. They feature classic Mid-Century fashion styling with cinched waistlines, angled shoulders, mid-knee lengths. The rippling effect seen is a natural process of the drying paint on the vellum. These were work samples at the time. Today they make for wonderful wall decor for the vintage fashion collector. They are highly collectible works...RARE to find.
