A vintage Fitz and Floyd figural pig from the French Market collection, produced during the 1990s and modelled as a sculptural pig surrounded by moulded vegetables and produce. The compact ceramic figure combines animal modelling with richly dimensional botanical detail, giving it strong decorative presence for French Country, farmhouse and collected kitchen interiors.
The hand-painted glazed ceramic is finished in a warm cream palette accented with green, red and yellow. Individually modelled vegetables and produce are integrated throughout the composition, creating considerable texture and depth across the surface. The combination of the expressive pig form, colourful glaze and abundant garden motifs is characteristic of Fitz and Floyd’s decorative ceramic work from the period.
At approximately seven inches wide, the figure is substantial enough for prominent display while remaining well suited to a kitchen shelf, hutch, sideboard or collection of Fitz and Floyd ceramics.
