Vintage Brutalist Style Ceramic Table Lamp, Attributed to Bitossi, 1960s
Vintage Brutalist Style Ceramic Table Lamp, Attributed to Bitossi, 1960s The substantial sculptural ceramic base features an intricate relief pattern of geometric and organic motifs highlighted in rich bronze, brown, and gold tones. The heavily textured surface and dimensional decoration create a dramatic, almost architectural presence characteristic of the era's celebrated Italian and European ceramic lighting.
The original tall tapered fabric shade is accented with a decorative ceramic band that echoes the ornamental relief of the ceramic base. When illuminated, the warm, earthy palette and substantial form make this an exceptional statement piece for a console, credenza, bedside table, or living room.
This would look fabulous in any mid-century modern, vintage, cubist, or brutalist space. It truly is an exceptional statement piece.
