The retired design depicts the eagle with wings dramatically raised, creating a strong vertical silhouette and an imposing sculptural presence.

Formed in clear crystal, the sculpture incorporates deeply modelled and cut detailing throughout the wings, breast, hooked beak, talons and supporting form. Individual feathers are articulated across the outstretched wings, allowing the crystal to refract light through the heavily worked surfaces. The figurine is accompanied by a square wooden display base.

The bald eagle subject gives the piece particular relevance to wildlife and Americana collections, while its scale and three-pound weight provide considerable presence as a display sculpture.
