Chair is nicely carved, backrest, arms and legs done in phenomenal Dutch marquetry inlay, featuring mythological "Northwind" type face in the center, surrounded by flowers and leaves. Backrest has two spindle carved finials on the top. Standing on four straight legs, all connected with rocker "blades". Chair comes with a burgundy pillow with floral needlepoint work on the top. Made in Holland / Netherlands late 19th to early 20th century. Superb quality chair, in good condition, showing light age / use wear (please view the photos). Size is great to fit anywhere 35" tall, 24.5" widest point, 31" deep including the blades, and the seat height is 16" & 2" pillow. It is a gorgeous piece that will serve you forever, it will work great in traditional or vintage mid-century modern setting! See less
