The large terrestrial globe is richly decorated with antique-style cartographic imagery in warm ochre, amber, green and muted earth tones. The globe opens to reveal a concealed bar compartment designed for bottles and glassware, transforming this sculptural decorative object into an elegant and functional entertaining piece.

The globe is held within an ebonized wood meridian support and raised on finely turned ebonized wood columns, creating a dramatic contrast with the richly colored cartographic surfaces. A circular lower tier, similarly decorated with a compass-inspired motif and geographical detailing, provides additional storage and beautifully anchors the composition.

Subtle brass accents, including the upper finial, hardware and casters, add a refined metallic note while allowing the cart to be moved easily for entertaining.
