The Camargue stands on two solid slab legs, full panels of reclaimed wood 3 inches thick, carrying a plank top milled 2.5 inches through with nothing underneath to visually compete with them, no stretcher rail, no bracing, just two clean planes of wood doing all the work. The natural wax finish keeps the timber's honey tone true to itself rather than dressing it up, and like any piece built from reclaimed wood, it carries a small chip at an edge or a hairline crack in the grain here and there; we leave those as found, proof of a life the wood lived before this one.

At 96 inches this reclaimed wood dining table seats eight to ten with room to spare, easy to dress with a low centerpiece and taper candles for a dinner party or left nearly bare on an ordinary night so the grain and the architecture of the legs can carry the room on their own.
