Unique & stylish vintage engine turned heart pendant crafted in 14 karat yellow gold (circa 1950s).
This vintage 14k gold heart pendant is one of those pieces that reminds us why vintage jewelry so special. The exterior is decorated with beautiful engine turned engraving - a precise decorative technique that creates intricate, light catching patterns across the gold. But the real magic happens when you open it. The heart unfolds to reveal four individual compartments, each opening outwards in a clover design before neatly folding back together to become one seamless heart again. Photos or a keepsake can be attached to each compartment to be worn close to your heart. The heart is larger in scale at just over 1 inch diameter, making a wonderful statement when worn. The pendant has a solid, weighty feel to the touch at 13.4 grams.
