Beautiful antique English oak corner cabinet or cupboard dating to circa 1920s, manufactured by Walter Skull & Son, Ltd., London, England, with the original maker’s label still present on the back.
Crafted from oak, the cabinet features a tall, narrow corner design that provides generous storage while occupying minimal floor space. The warm reddish-brown finish beautifully highlights the natural oak grain and gives the piece a rich, traditional character.
The upper section features a single glass-paneled door with wooden muntins, opening to reveal three interior wooden shelves ideal for displaying glassware, collectibles, books, ceramics, or decorative objects. Below is a separate paneled wooden door providing additional concealed storage.
Beautiful architectural details include molded trim, a gently shaped corner profile, traditional hardware, and a decorative pierced apron along the bottom.
The interior is painted in a contrasting soft blue/turquoise tone, adding an unexpected and charming pop of color when the doors are opened.
A wonderful functional antique that would work beautifully in a dining room, living room, library, kitchen, entryway, or any unused corner where additional display and storage are desired.
