Edwardian English walnut upholstered stool, circa 1900.
The top of the stool has been newly upholstered in linen and finished with a double welt. The stool is supported on hand turned legs, which are cabriole and have carved shielded knees for added design interest. The legs terminate in padded feet. This stool has acquired a lovely patina and is very unusual in it's form.
