This 59-inch panel is a narrow Igbo wall element, part of the same painted collection as doors #76 and #77, hand-carved from a single slab 16 inches wide. A band of stacked triangular chevron peaks sits near the top, separated by a plain horizontal groove from a nested diamond lattice pattern that fills most of the lower field. The surface carries the same heavy white and rust-red painted finish seen across the set, built up unevenly in the carved recesses in a way consistent with genuine age. Given its narrow proportions, this reads as a sculptural wall panel rather than an architectural door, and it's a natural companion piece to use as a set, whether displayed together as a trio or spaced individually along a wall. On its own, it suits a slim vertical gap or a stairwell run where its two distinct registers read clearly at close range.
