An early electric lamp crafted from an authentic military shell casing. A classic example of "Trench Art."
We love the large sail boat or schooner. The engraved name is Seagull.
The body of the lamp has detailed repose and chased Folk Art Motifs.
The body of the lamp is made from a spent brass artillery shell casing traditionally sourced from major global conflicts such as WWI and WWII.
Hand hammered from the inside out and stippled by soldiers , prisoners of war or local artisans.
The top of the lamp has a multi cluster socket with pull chains. On a wood base.
Shade included
Original wiring. The lamp needs rewiring to today's standards.
