Introduced in 1969 and … Read more A Lladro Dove porcelain figurine, model #1015, produced in Spain and documented under piece code NB10. Introduced in 1969 and retired in 1994, this long-retired model presents the dove in a poised standing composition with raised head, rounded breast and an elegantly swept arrangement of tail feathers.

Executed in Lladro's gloss glazed porcelain, the predominantly white figure is complemented by delicately rendered pink feet and a pale blue-grey base. The restrained palette and softly modelled plumage are characteristic of Lladro's established approach to naturalistic bird subjects during the latter 20th century.

The documented model number, production dates and retired status make this an identifiable addition to a collection of Lladro birds, Spanish porcelain or retired figural models.
