A genuine historic wood patch repair is set into the upper section, honest evidence of age and real use rather than a flaw. The face is covered in a dense nested chevron pattern, stacked V shapes running the full height, framed top and bottom by plain horizontal grooved bands. At the center sits a lozenge-shaped diamond with a lens-form eye carved inside it, surrounded by radiating diagonal ridges. The surface carries a deep charcoal-black patina, notably darker than most pieces in this collection, which points toward an earlier estimate or especially heavy historic handling.

There's one full-length crack along the panel, structurally stable. At 23 inches wide, this is a substantial single-slab door with real presence, well suited to an entryway, a stairwell landing, or as a standalone anchor piece on a wide wall. See less
