Striking vintage double wall sconce featuring two sculptural, textured clear glass shades set within an elegant combination of black metal and polished brass.
Pair of European vintage double wall sconces.
The pair of tall, organically textured glass shades have a beautiful irregular surface that diffuses the light and creates interesting reflections when illuminated. Each shade is supported by a sculptural brass fitting and framed by sweeping black metal arms, while the central rectangular brass backplate adds a strong architectural element.
The contrasting black, brass and clear textured glass creates a sophisticated Mid-Century Modern aesthetic, with strong Atomic Age and Italian modernist influences.
A particularly decorative piece that would work beautifully as a statement light in a bedroom, hallway, living room, dining area or boutique hospitality interior.
