This 10" x 8" composition is a celebration of glass, transparency, and the shifting quality of daylight as one season transitions into the next.

I was drawn to the rhythm of these bottles and jars—objects collected over time, each carrying its own subtle history. In this piece, I wanted to explore how light passes through them, casting soft, colorful shadows and bouncing off the structured lines of the glassware. I anchored the bottles against a graphic, leafy textile backdrop, blending a cool, airy sky blue atmosphere with the warm, rich olive and army green tones of autumn foliage creeping in below.

Working with bold, expressive outlines and a rich, color-forward palette, I aimed to balance a modern graphic sensibility with classic Post-Impressionist and Expressionist warmth. Every brushstroke represents an investment of time, focus, and feeling.
