The rectangular top features a handsome book-matched walnut panel framed by contrasting veneers. A wide frieze drawer is faced in dramatically figured burl walnut and supported by graceful curved front supports accented with dark circular bosses.

An especially attractive feature is the antique mirrored back, with beautifully mottled, time-worn silvering that adds depth and reflects the richly figured walnut of the lower platform. The aged mirror surface contributes considerably to the table’s historic character and decorative appeal.

The combination of warm walnut, bold grain, aged mirror and clean Biedermeier lines gives this compact table a surprisingly strong presence.
