Striking, vintage hand-hammered brass centerpiece bowl featuring a broad scalloped rim, deeply shaped sides, and ornate cast foliate handles. The large oval bowl is elevated on four decorative feet and has a beautifully warm, timeworn brass finish with visible hand-hammered texture throughout. Its large scale and sculptural form make it wonderful as a dining table centerpiece, console bowl, fruit bowl, or decorative jardinière. The brass retains an aged, naturally varied patina that adds wonderful character and emphasizes the hand-worked construction.
