About Howard Miller :
Howard C. Miller (1905–1995) was an American clockmaker and entrepreneur who founded the Howard Miller Company in Zeeland, Michigan, in 1926 at age 21. The company became renowned for finely crafted clocks and later expanded into furniture and home furnishings. Miller was particularly influential in bringing modern design into American timepieces, including collaborations with celebrated designer George Nelson beginning in the late 1940s. His company became one of the most important American manufacturers of clocks and later became known for its high-quality furniture and cabinetry.
