Stunning pair of antique French porcelain cabinet plates from Limoges, France. Dating to the late 19th or early 20th century, each plate features a beautifully detailed, hand-painted game bird set against a soft landscape of grass and foliage. The plates are crafted with an elegant, deeply scalloped rim finished in a rich, textured matte gold-gilt border that beautifully frames the artwork.
The undersides feature the authentic green underglaze factory mark and the star decorator mark for Coiffe, Hoenig et Cie, dating this fine pair precisely between 1891 and 1914. Perfect for collectors of antique French porcelain, traditional dining decor, or sporting/cabin-style interiors.
The plates measures 9 3/8 inches in diameter.
