A stunning black leather papa bear chair and ottoman designed by Hans J. Wegner and manufactured by A.P. Stolen. Both pieces are stamped. The chair has been expertly redone in high quality black Lugano Leather. It is buttery soft. We believe the paws ands legs are in Teak.
A.P. Stolen manufactured this chair from its initial design through 1977 until it was reproduced again by PP Møbler. This chair is likely mid-1950’s-60’s production.
The wood has been refinished and the chair is lovely. There are some minor handling marks and natural marks to the leather hide., pictured.
Ottoman dimension are 25.5 inches wide, 15.75 inches deep and 17 inches high.
