A beautiful lacquered enamel wood and brass shelving unit or room divider by Paul Mccobb for Calvin for the Irwin Collection. The unit separate into two pieces if desired. The base can function as a standalone coffee table and the top as a separate shelving unit. It’s an elegant unit that’s have a lovely room presence.
We have left the brass patinated as we found it. We prefer it this way as it adds character to the piece and in no way detracts from it. The brass can be polished but we prefer it this way and are selling it as it is. The wood has a lacquered enamel finish. We’ve seen quite a few of these over the years and they are almost always wood finish. We rarely see them in this enamel lacquer finish. There are 4 drawers on the top and two drawers on the base. The wood has some marks the worst of which i have pictured.
There are some marks to the enameled finish from use and general wear and as described the brass pieces have many marks are patinated with wear.
