Lucchesi eagle sculpture featuring a dramatically posed bird of prey with wings fully spread, mounted on a substantial dark marble plinth.

The sculpture is exceptionally detailed, with individually modeled feathers, powerful talons, hooked beak and expressive facial features. An antiqued silver-tone finish with darker recessed areas emphasizes the extensive feather and body detailing.

The sculpted rocky base is signed Lucchesi. No sterling, silver-fineness, ARDE or other metal-content hallmark has been located; therefore, the sculpture is conservatively represented as decorative silver-tone metal rather than sterling silver or solid silver.
