Charming vintage Italian-style tole table lamp featuring an elaborate three-dimensional garden of hand-formed and hand-painted metal flowers, buds and foliage.
The sculptural floral arrangement rises from a circular metal base with layers of green leaves surrounding delicate pink, cream and yellow blossoms. Taller stylized flowers create an architectural quality and wonderful depth when viewed from different angles. The softly faded painted finish and exposed metal give the lamp an especially appealing timeworn character.
Dating approximately to the mid-20th century, circa 1950s–1960s, this decorative lamp captures the romantic character associated with Italian Florentine tole lighting of the period. Beautiful for a Hollywood Regency, Italian Provincial, French Country, Cottagecore or eclectic interior.
