Oil painting on board of a Pouter Pigeon in courtship with a hen doing its traditional strutting and bowing dance. Signed in the lower right corner. Also inscribed on the reverse and dated. Framed.
I paint in the traditional style of old masters because I am drawn to the charisma of that era. For me, creating art is a patient ritual. At the heart of my process is the careful preparation of the painting surface. Ultimately my goal is for the person viewing my work to experience a pause, a moment to reflect.
