Antique late 18th Century Ludwigsburg Germany fine porcelain trinket box, featuring peasants interacting with gooses on top of a gilded trinket box with wreath and urn details.
Ludwigsburg porcelain is porcelain made at the Ludwigsburg Porcelain Manufactory founded by Charles Eugene, Duke of Württemberg, on 5 April 1758 by decree as the Herzoglich-ächte Porcelaine-Fabrique. It operated from the grounds of the Baroque Ludwigsburg Palace.
The 18th-century factory underglaze mark has two "C"s interlocked in blue, with a crown above.
The porcelain is beautifully detailed, it is a very nice collectable item for German high-quality hard paste porcelain figures from this era.
