Vintage 1960s original mid-century still life oil painting, signed Ann Blake and dated 2-68 at lower left. The composition features a tightly cropped grouping of crocks, jars, and pottery vessels rendered in a loose painterly style with soft tonal shifts and muted green, cream, and brown tones.
The canvas is stretched on a period Grumbacher stretcher. There is also a handwritten name on the reverse that appears to read James Pitcher (or possibly James Ritcher). Housed in its original handmade artist's frame.
