They are nice and large and date frames precisely between 1880 and 1920. This specific presentation—convex (bubble) glass housed inside an ornate gesso and wood oval frame—reached its peak popularity during the late Victorian and Edwardian eras. The fashion worn by the young boy on the right, featuring a white sailor suit with a traditional collar, strongly points to the turn of the century (circa 1900–1910).
