Mixed media on hardboard. Signed lower right. On the back is a label from the Galleria San Carlo in Milan, with the title of the work. There is also a dedication from the artist ('To Michele', February 1984). This work belongs to Franco Rognoni's final period, in which, having recovered from the existential crisis that had distracted him from easel painting, he returned to painting with forms inspired by a fantastical vision of life, supported by vivid color. Visions of imaginary lands are recurring, characterized by elements rendered with a few linear strokes, then filled in with color. Framed. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
