Bring late 19th-century French country charm to your tabletop or wall display with this authentic antique barbotine asparagus cradle/server. Hand-molded to replicate tightly bound bundles of asparagus spears, this vibrant piece features realistically sculpted green and cream stalks culminating in rich, hand-painted purple tips. The entire structure rests gracefully on molded, rustic faux-twig feet.
Produced during the golden age of French earthenware, this standalone server makes a stunning decorative statement on a dining table, kitchen island, or arranged in a majolica gallery wall collection.
The underside is clearly impressed with the crisp, authentic maker's mark reading "LUNÉVILLE", verifying its manufacturing heritage from the historic Lunéville pottery works in France (circa 1880–1900).
