A striking Belgian Art Deco ceramic vase by Faïencerie de Thulin, distinguished by its wonderfully sculptural form and dramatic polychrome drip glaze.

The tall, tapered body rises from an expressive pedestal base incorporating two small open loop handles. A softly undulating rim completes the organic silhouette, beautifully capturing the transition from late Art Nouveau toward the more stylized language of Art Deco.

The glaze is the true star of the piece. A deep cobalt blue, approaching black in places, is animated by flowing streaks of electric blue, amber, ochre, and coppery brown. Variations created during firing give the surface remarkable depth and ensure that the vase offers a different composition from every angle.

The interior provides an unexpected contrast with its soft pale-green glaze.

This distinctive form is documented as **Faïencerie de Thulin model 1943**. The impressed number on the underside is the factory model number rather than a production date.
