Mid 20th century original surrealist etching. Unsigned etching featuring fantastical beasts one if whom is clutching a stack of papers. Heavy cross hatching adds to the dark mood of this wonderful and unique piece. There is a visible tension between playful improvisation and an underlying psychological darkness.
