This is an antique Sorrentoware keepsake box. An Italian, walnut and silk cotton lined dressing table case, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1880.
Wonderful example of Italian decorative casework
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Walnut stocks present fine grain interest and warm caramel hues
