A stunning coral landscape composition with a dynamic horse and rider.
This is a spontaneous painting completed on holiday in Italy. The scene is executed with a level of excellence and skill seen through color and heavy texture. A brilliant balance of expressive gestural brushwork and detail makes the rider feel alive. There is also a unique mid century modern vintage feel to the overall piece.
Size: 16x16 inch
Medium: Oil on canvas paper on archival foamcore
The painting is signed on the front
The frame is a lovely finishing touch for this piece though it has some scuffs and signs of light wear.
Old European Renaissance Masters continue to ignite passion, emotion, and understanding.
