The tall cylindrical body displays a phoenix among peonies and foliage, rendered in multicolored enamel against a cobalt-blue ground. Geometric and botanical borders encircle the upper and lower sections. A pierced and carved ebonized wood base supports the body, while aged brass-toned hardware and an ivory bell-shaped fabric shade complete the lamp.
