Pair of Modern Tortoiseshell Lacquer Polyhedron Spiral Lamps in the Style of Christopher Guy
A striking pair of sculptural modern table lamps inspired by the dramatic geometric vocabulary associated with luxury interiors designer Christopher Guy. Executed in a richly layered tortoiseshell-style lacquer finish, each lamp is composed of stacked faceted polyhedral forms arranged in a twisting spiral configuration, creating a dynamic architectural silhouette from every angle. The composition evokes the tension between Cubist abstraction and late modern glamour, while the faceted surfaces catch and reflect light with exceptional depth and warmth.
The lacquer finish displays an amber and cognac mottled effect reminiscent of polished tortoiseshell, giving the lamps a jewel-like presence while retaining a strong contemporary profile.
