Attributed to Archimede Seguso Murano Controlled Bubble Art Glass Ball Table Lamp, Italy, circa 1970. This elegant hand-blown Venetian table lamp bears its original Seguso Murano, Made in Italy label, and is attributed to the celebrated designer and master glassmaker Archimede Seguso, whose work helped define the international reputation of Murano glass during the mid-twentieth century. While the surviving label confirms manufacture by Seguso on Murano, the refined spherical form, warm smoky coloration, and meticulous bubble decoration closely correspond with documented examples associated with Archimede Seguso's production of the 1960s and 1970s.

The lamp is blown as a perfectly proportioned sphere in softly golden champagne-toned art glass and decorated using the renowned Bullicante technique, one of Murano's most admired glassmaking processes. Created by repeatedly molding the hot glass over a bed of metal points, the technique traps precise rows of uniform air bubbles beneath the surface, producing remarkable depth, brilliance, and a luminous optical effect. The restrained modernist silhouette allows the exceptional craftsmanship of the Venetian glassmakers to take center stage.
