This piece captures a country dirt road curving through a stand of autumn trees — birch, pine, and turning maples in ochre, rust, and olive — rendered in confident, heavily structured brushwork that gives the foliage real dimension and weight.

The canvas board is signed "Roth" lower left. It is presented in its original ornate carved wood frame with a scrolling acanthus motif and a whitewashed, distressed finish that suits both traditional and modern interiors.
