A striking pair of vintage brass Chinese garden stools featuring pierced and embossed decoration throughout. Each hexagonal stool has a gently bowed silhouette with repeating geometric borders, stylized botanical motifs and intricate pierced medallions.
The decorative brass tops are equally detailed, allowing the stools to be used beautifully with or without the upholstered cushions. The loose padded seats simply rest on top and can easily be removed, giving this pair two completely different looks. Use them as extra seating, decorative stools, small occasional tables or flanking a console.
The polished brass has developed wear and variation over time, giving the pair plenty of vintage character rather than an overly perfect finish.
