An Austrian ‘Auersberg’ accent chair, designed in 1955 by J.O. Wladar and V. Mödlhammer in Vienna for Sonett Karl Fostel´s Sen Erben. Characterized by its distinctive wire-frame construction, the chair’s backrest unfolds in a graceful, fan-like arrangement of slender vertical steel rods that taper toward the seat.
The lacquered steel frame forms angular, geometric hairpin style legs that emphasize balance and visual tension, contrasting with the softly upholstered seat cushion. Minimal yet expressive, it is equally suited as an indoor accent piece or as outdoor garden seating.
