The sculptural form is defined by distinctive ribbed leather arms, which frame the piece with a strong architectural rhythm and give the sofa its unmistakable silhouette. The back of the sofa is also upholstered in supple Italian leather, allowing the piece to read with intention from every angle.

The frame is paired with generous down-filled back cushions and a foam seat cushion upholstered in softly textured wool-blend fabric. The contrast between the structured leather and the relaxed upholstery feels deliberate—luxurious but intentional, expressive yet deeply livable.

Cecchi’s work sits at the intersection of architecture and design, shaped by his training in Florence and a precise understanding of proportion and material. Condition: Great restored condition. The sofa has been fully stripped and carefully rebuilt, including structural work to the frame and arms. Springs and webbing have been adjusted to ensure proper support and comfort. The piece has been newly reupholstered in supple Italian leather and a softly textured wool-blend fabric. One corner of the leather shows minor wear, as shown in photos.

Restoration work included approximately five hours of woodworking to reinforce and refine the structure, followed by a complete stripping and reupholstery process completed over three days. The result is a fully refreshed example that retains its original design integrity while offering exceptional comfort and stability.
