An Italian cocoon pendant from the 1960s. Suspended from a slender stem, the fixture is constructed around a metal frame enveloped in a sprayed resin shade, forming a softly ribbed surface that recalls the translucency of goatskin parchment.
Warm orange lacquered elements cap the form above and below, introducing a bold chromatic counterpoint to the milky, diffused body of the shade. When illuminated, the pendant emits a gentle, ambient glow, with the layered resin filtering light into subtle tonal gradations.
Condition: Great vintage condition. This pendant was professionally rewired by our team of restorationists with a new canopy. Minor wear to the resin shade including areas of discoloration and marks. Accepts two E26 base light bulbs.
