Vintage circa 1980s original painting by Linda M Kolar. The subject is a gentleman with dark skin tones laying nude on a sofa with draped fabric and his hand on books on a nearby table. This painting has many vivid colors including red, teal, yellows as well as dimensional neutrals. This piece was recently professionally framed in a faux copper painted wood frame with brown and copper tones.
Kolar exhibited in many local art shows including at Contemporary Art Group and the Art Centre of New Jersey.Notably, her landscape piece titled “Ringwood Manor” was included in the A.A.P.L.’s Grand National Exhibit in 2002 at the Salmagundi Club. Kolar also held figure drawing sessions at various studios, including Minerva Durham’s Spring Studio, the Arts Guild of Rahway, and sessions at the duCret School of Art and the Art Centre of New Jersey.
